What is DAYTRONIC and what does it do?

DAYTRONIC is a simple, affordable & reliable dimming solution

In contrast to most other solutions in the market that "can somehow also do Daylight Harvesting" - especially those offered by the major lighting OEMs - DAYTRONIC has been 100% specially developed for Daylight Harvesting applications - without compromises. The major lighting companies do not make dedicated ballasts for this purpose - the volumes are just not big enough for them. For example, DAYTRONIC is the first solution that contains all required Daylight Harvesting intelligence inside the ballast (and not in the photo sensor).

This gives you a range of significant advantages: With DAYTRONIC there are none of the problems that you face when trying to make standard dimming ballasts work in Daylight Harvesting applications. Every DAYTRONIC set comes with a very small, stylish and very cost-effective photo sensor that is easy to install into each light fitting. DAYTRONIC transforms any standard light fitting into an extremely reliable standalone Daylight Harvesting system.

Once the total light level (artifical + daylight) on your workplace exceeds a preset value - for example 500 lux - the artifical light starts to dim gradually and continuously. The artifical light constantly adjusts to the available daylight. With DAYTRONIC, your lamps will dim down to 10% of full output when sufficient daylight permits this.
